Tidal Cyber's Richard Struse Joins MITRE ATT&CK Advisory Council to Enhance Threat-Led Defense
Tidal Cyber announced the appointment of Richard Struse, CTO and Co-Founder, to the MITRE ATT&CK Advisory Council. This council aims to support the sustainability and evolution of the MITRE ATT&CK program. Tidal Cyber is also evolving its Threat-Led Defense platform to focus on adversary procedures, enhancing the model by introducing an execution layer that aids organizations in disrupting attacks effectively.

Richard Struse, CTO of Tidal Cyber, has been appointed to the MITRE ATT&CK Advisory Council, which is focused on supporting the long-term sustainability of the MITRE ATT&CK program. Tidal Cyber is also redefining its Threat-Led Defense platform to center on adversary procedures, the specific actions attackers take to achieve their goals.
This new approach introduces an execution layer that allows organizations to identify critical disruption points in attacks, moving beyond classification to prioritize effective defense strategies. The Advisory Council will offer strategic guidance but lacks governing authority over the ATT&CK framework.
