On February 23, 2026, Starfighters Space (NYSE American: FJET) announced that founder Rick Svetkoff has resigned from his positions as CEO, Chairman, and Director. His wife, Brenda Svetkoff, has also stepped down as Secretary.

Tim Franta has been appointed as the new CEO. Svetkoff's career includes service in the U.S. Navy as a pilot and a long tenure at Continental Airlines before founding Starfighters in 1996.

The board thanked the Svetkoffs for their vision and leadership. Franta, who has worked with Svetkoff for over 20 years, will lead the company into further commercialization of its operations.
