Titan Production Equipment Wins Contract for Fuel Gas Letdown Stations at Project Matador AI Data Center in Texas
Titan Production Equipment, LLC has been awarded a contract to engineer and manufacture Fuel Gas Letdown Stations for Project Matador, an AI data center and energy campus in Texas. This ambitious project, developed by Fermi America and the Texas Tech University System, aims to deliver up to 11 gigawatts of power and create thousands of jobs, with construction set to begin in phases, starting with nuclear reactors by April 2031. The initiative represents a significant investment in U.S. energy infrastructure, with an initial funding of $60 billion.

Titan Production Equipment, LLC has secured a contract to engineer, design, and manufacture Fuel Gas Letdown Stations for Project Matador, an AI data center and energy campus near Amarillo, Texas. Developed by Fermi America in collaboration with the Texas Tech University System, Project Matador aims to meet the energy demands of AI infrastructure, delivering up to 11 gigawatts of power across 18 million square feet.
Construction will occur over multiple phases, starting with nuclear reactors expected operational by April 2031. The project entails an initial investment of $60 billion, with $1.3 billion already raised and plans for an additional $5.2 billion.
It will create thousands of jobs, including 600 full-time positions, and integrate various energy sources, such as nuclear, natural gas, and renewable energy. Titan's role ensures efficient natural gas delivery throughout the project's expansion, marking a significant milestone in U.S. energy infrastructure.
