Tomball City Council Approves Utility Relocation for FM 2920 Rehabilitation Project
The Tomball City Council has approved a $765,541 agreement with Oller Engineering Inc. for the relocation of utilities along FM 2920, necessary for upcoming roadway improvements by TxDOT. This project will address utility conflicts and is part of the city's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan, with the Tomball Economic Development Corp. contributing $1 million towards the costs.

Tomball City Council approved a professional services agreement with Oller Engineering Inc. on January 5 for the relocation of utilities along FM 2920, with a budget not to exceed $765,541. This relocation is necessary due to planned roadway improvements by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The project will involve engineering and design services for adjusting, replacing, or relocating water, sanitary sewer, and natural gas utilities that conflict with TxDOT's improvements. This initiative is linked to recommendations from Tomball's 2018 and 2023 Water Master Plan updates, addressing current and future demand. The project is included in the fiscal year 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan, with the Tomball Economic Development Corp. committing $1 million for utility relocation costs.
