Top-Secret Air Force Janet Jet Lands at Area 51, Raises Speculations on Classified Activities
A top-secret Air Force jet from the Janet fleet landed at Area 51 on Monday, following a series of flights to the facility over the past week. Known for its classified aircraft testing, Area 51 has long been a focal point for speculation about extraterrestrial technology. An aviation journalist noted that potential declassifications of secrets from the 1990s could occur by 2025, as security around the site continues to intensify.

On Monday, a top-secret Air Force jet from the Janet fleet landed at Area 51 in the Nevada desert, departing from Harry Reid International Airport at 8:25 AM PT and arriving at 8:42 AM. The Janet fleet transports contractor employees and military personnel to secure facilities.
Over the past week, there have been six Janet flights to Area 51, all taking off from Las Vegas in a similar timeframe. Area 51, established in 1955, is part of the US Air Force's Nevada Test and Training Range and is known for testing classified aircraft and weapons systems.
Rumors persist about its connections to extraterrestrial technology. An aviation journalist revealed that a source indicated secrets from the 1990s could be declassified by 2025, following an executive order from Bill Clinton. Area 51 is under heightened security, making access more difficult than in previous decades.
