TotalEnergies Sells 10% Stake in Nigerian Renaissance JV to Vaaris
TotalEnergies EP Nigeria has agreed to sell a 10% non-operated stake in the Renaissance joint venture to Vaaris, which includes interests in 15 licenses and three additional gas licenses. The joint venture produced 16,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2025, while TotalEnergies will maintain its full economic interest in licenses that supply 50% of Nigeria LNG's gas. The transaction is pending regulatory approval.

TotalEnergies EP Nigeria signed an agreement with Vaaris to sell its non-operated 10% stake in 15 licenses of the Renaissance joint venture in Nigeria, which produced 16,000 bep/d in 2025. The sale includes a 10% stake in three additional gas licenses, while TotalEnergies retains its full economic interest in these licenses, which account for 50% of Nigeria LNG's gas supply. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
