Toyota, HIF Global, and MITTA launched 'Ruta Cero' in Chilean Patagonia, integrating hybrid vehicles with synthetic e-fuel from HIF's Haru Oni facility. This pilot aims to demonstrate cleaner mobility in remote areas with limited charging infrastructure by using carbon-neutral fuels.

MITTA will supply Toyota hybrid vehicles fueled exclusively with e-fuel during the summer season, allowing for reduced emissions without changing driving habits. The project plans to provide 2,500 liters of e-fuel from Transpetrol's Route 9 station, highlighting a multi-path decarbonization approach leveraging Chile's clean energy resources.
