Travis Kalanick Launches Atoms, a Robotics Company Targeting Food, Mining, and Transportation Sectors
Travis Kalanick has launched Atoms, a robotics startup focused on specialized industrial applications in food, mining, and transportation. The company will integrate assets from his previous ghost kitchen venture, CloudKitchens, and plans to acquire Pronto, an autonomous vehicle startup. Atoms aims to develop task-specific robots to enhance productivity, with divisions dedicated to food infrastructure, mining efficiency, and transport robotics.

Travis Kalanick launched Atoms, a robotics startup targeting food, mining, and transportation sectors. Atoms will absorb Kalanick's existing ghost kitchen business, CloudKitchens, and plans to acquire Pronto, an autonomous vehicle startup focused on industrial applications.
The company will consist of three divisions: Atoms Food, providing infrastructure for the food industry; Atoms Mining, aimed at boosting productivity in mining; and Atoms Transport, focused on specialized robotic systems. Kalanick aims to develop task-specific robots to enhance industrial productivity.
