The Trenton Planning Commission is set to review a site plan for Prologis' 880,000-square-foot data center on March 30. Known as 'Project Mila,' the development will occupy 141 acres in Trenton Industrial Park and comprise four buildings, each 220,000 square feet, and an electrical substation, creating 140 jobs.
Concerns about environmental impact and water use have been raised by residents. Prologis has obtained necessary permits, with construction of the first building expected to start this spring. The data center will utilize a cooling system that is more efficient than traditional methods and is projected to use water only 3% of the year. The project could generate $120,000 annually in fees for Trenton.
