Trevor Milton, pardoned by President Trump, is seeking $1 billion to develop autonomous planes through his acquisition of SyberJet Aircraft. After purchasing the company late last year, he is focusing on building a new avionics system for an AI-driven light jet.
This initiative could potentially lead to defense contracts. Milton has recruited numerous former Nikola employees and is pursuing investments from Saudi Arabia, alongside spending hundreds of thousands on lobbying. He stated that developing aircraft will be significantly more challenging than his previous work with Nikola.
