Trinasolar Partners with ACWA Power for Major Solar Projects in Saudi Arabia
Trinasolar has partnered with ACWA Power to advance major solar projects in Saudi Arabia, including the 1.15GW Haden Solar Photovoltaic Independent Power Plant, which will utilize Trinasolar's Vertex N modules. The project, supported by the Public Investment Fund, aims for grid connection by February 2027, while Trinasolar will also supply 900MW of smart trackers for the Al Khushaybi PV Project, marking its first local content compliant deployment in the Kingdom. The company's Jeddah manufacturing facility is operational, providing Tracker Control Units for these initiatives.

Trinasolar is enhancing its operations in Saudi Arabia through partnerships with ACWA Power, focusing on utility-scale solar projects aligned with Vision 2030. The Haden Solar Photovoltaic Independent Power Plant, a 1.15GW project backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF4), will utilize Trinasolar's Vertex N modules, with delivery starting in late 2024 and completion scheduled for July 2026.
The project aims to connect to the grid by February 2027. Additionally, Trinasolar is supplying 900MW of Vanguard 1P smart trackers to the Al Khushaybi PV Project, marking its first local content compliant deployment in the Kingdom. The company’s manufacturing facility in Jeddah is operational, supplying Tracker Control Units for the project, which is part of the National Renewable Energy Program.
