Türkiye Signs $4.4 Billion Contract with Sikorsky for 120 Black Hawk Helicopters

Türkiye has signed a five-year multi-year supply agreement with Sikorsky for 120 Black Hawk helicopters, valued at approximately $4.4 billion if all options are exercised. The contract includes the delivery of 24 UH-60M and HH-60M variants, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

This agreement enhances Türkiye's defense capabilities and supports operational flexibility in intelligence and health support operations. It also emphasizes local supply chain robustness and technology transfer.

Sikorsky is also advancing unmanned Black Hawk solutions, focusing on operational efficiency and safety. The contract marks a strategic partnership that strengthens Türkiye's defense industry and contributes to regional security dynamics.
