Türkiye aims to deliver 30 Altay tanks in 2026, tripling production from its current capacity of eight tanks per month. The Altay main battle tank program, initiated under a 2018 contract with BMC, plans for 250 tanks in total, with 85 T1 tanks scheduled between 2025 and 2028.

This includes 3 units in 2025, 10 in 2026, 41 in 2027, and 30 in 2028. Türkiye's 2026 defense agenda also features the first Kizilelma drone deliveries, signing of a Kaan fighter jet contract, and induction of TB3 unmanned aerial vehicles, among other military enhancements.
