Trump Indicates Proximity to Iran-US Peace Agreement Amid Ongoing Conflict
US President Donald Trump stated that the US and Iran are nearing a peace agreement, with only minor points of contention remaining. The resolution could involve US cooperation to manage Iran's enriched uranium, contingent upon a formal agreement.

US President Donald Trump announced that a peace agreement between the US and Iran is imminent, with only a few minor disagreements remaining. Iran has accepted a commitment not to develop nuclear weapons, although Trump insists on further renunciation of acquisition rights.
Concurrently, he urged Israel to conduct more precise attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. Recent Israeli air raids have resulted in over 3,560 casualties in Lebanon since March 2. Trump confirmed that he has not spoken directly with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, yet acknowledged Khamenei's role in the negotiation process. If an agreement is not reached, the US may take military actions to eliminate Iran's uranium stockpiles.
