Turkey's SAHA 2026 Expo to Drive Drone Production Nationwide
The SAHA defense expo, scheduled for May 5, aims to attract $8 billion in deals, increasing drone production capabilities across Turkey. Organizers plan to reinvest funds from the event into establishing drone production facilities in all 81 provinces, decentralizing the defense industry and enhancing local skills.

The SAHA defense expo will open on May 5, with organizers targeting $8 billion in deals, an increase from $6.2 billion in 2024. Over 1,700 companies are set to participate, significantly up from 17 in the inaugural event.
Revenues from the expo will fund drone production centers nationwide, aiming to produce millions of drones and decentralize Turkey's defense-industrial base. Major companies like Baykar, Roketsan, and STM will showcase new technologies, including AI-assisted munitions and naval systems. This initiative not only expands production capabilities but also aims to foster local talent in defense technology, positioning Turkey as a competitive hub in the global defense market.
