Turkish Air Force Delegation Reviews C-130J Support at Marshall Aerospace
A Turkish Air Force delegation visited Marshall Aerospace on March 25 to assess the C-130J Super Hercules support program. This program, underway since late 2025, involves maintenance and structural upgrades for 12 aircraft, with ongoing support expected over the coming years.

On March 25, 2026, a Turkish Air Force delegation, led by Brigadier General Volkan Ersun Acar and Lieutenant Colonel Halis Can Polat, visited Marshall Aerospace's headquarters in Cambridge to review the C-130J Super Hercules support program. Since late 2025, Marshall has been conducting multiple maintenance activities on the fleet of 12 aircraft, including structural replacements and deep maintenance.
The delegation observed a C-130J aircraft undergoing significant work, including the removal of the centre wing box. The multi-year contract includes comprehensive sustainment services. Marshall's ongoing partnership with the UK Defence Equipment & Support enhances the program's success, although future logistics and potential supply chain disruptions may pose risks.
