Turkmenistan Introduces Chinese JN1101 Anti-Drone System and HZ Pontoon Bridge

DEFENSE

Turkmenistan has unveiled the JN1101 anti-UAV system and the HZ powered pontoon bridge, indicating a growing reliance on Chinese defense equipment. Both systems are now operational, having been assigned to active military units.

The JN1101 is an integrated anti-drone platform capable of detecting, jamming, and disrupting UAV operations across a frequency range of 200 MHz to 8000 MHz. It features high direction-finding accuracy and can engage multiple signals simultaneously, enhancing its effectiveness in protecting military infrastructure.

The HZ pontoon bridge, developed by Hubei Huazhou Heavy Industry, is designed for rapid deployment in emergencies, with powered units for independent maneuvering. Its modular design allows for adaptability across various terrains, supporting both military and civil operations. The introduction of these systems reflects Turkmenistan's strategic focus on enhancing defense and emergency response capabilities with Chinese technology.
