Tyczka Hydrogen Acquires Two German Hydrogen Refuelling Stations from MorGen Energy

SYNTHETIC FUELSHYDROGEN

Tyczka Hydrogen has acquired two hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany from MorGen Energy's mobility subsidiary. The stations, located in Giengen an der Brenz, Baden-Württemberg, and Hallstadt, Bavaria, will complement Tyczka's ongoing projects in Augsburg and Ravensburg, aiming to boost hydrogen demand in mobility.

The transaction value is undisclosed, with completion expected in January 2026. Both stations, which feature 350 and 700 bar dispensing capacity, will be upgraded for heavy-duty vehicle performance. The Giengen station opened in May 2024, and construction for the Hallstadt site began in January 2025.

Tyczka will provide green hydrogen from its network, including a 5MW production site in Schweinfurt set to start by late 2026. The acquisition aligns with Bavarian funding initiatives supporting hydrogen transport, covering up to 80% of costs for hydrogen truck purchases.
