UAE Delegation, Led by Minister Al Zeyoudi, Visits DRC for Trade and Investment Day
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, led a delegation to the Democratic Republic of Congo for the UAE-DRC Trade and Investment Day, focusing on enhancing economic collaboration in mining, solar energy, and agriculture. During the visit, 16 Memorandums of Understanding were signed with local officials, including Governor Fifi Masuka Saini. The UAE's non-oil trade with the DRC reached US$2.1 billion in early 2025, reflecting a 19.2% increase, while the UAE has invested over US$110 billion in Africa since 2019.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, led a delegation to the Democratic Republic of Congo's Lualaba Province for the UAE-DRC Trade and Investment Day. The event aimed to strengthen economic ties and collaboration in sectors like mining, solar energy, and agriculture.
Al Zeyoudi met with Governor Fifi Masuka Saini and various ministers, signing 16 Memorandums of Understanding. The DRC, with a GDP of approximately US$70.75 billion, saw UAE non-oil trade reach US$2.1 billion in early 2025, a 19.2% increase. The UAE has invested over US$110 billion in Africa since 2019.
