UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will visit India on January 19 to enhance the strategic partnership amid regional tensions. The visit will focus on trade, investment, defense, and energy discussions, building on the 2022 Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which has significantly increased bilateral trade.

Non-oil trade reached $37.6 billion in the first half of 2025, with a goal of $100 billion by 2030. The UAE is India's seventh-largest investor with over $22 billion in FDI since 2000. Recent high-level engagements include visits by military and civilian leaders, reflecting strong ties and cooperation in various sectors, including energy and technology.
