The UAE's solar photovoltaic capacity is forecasted to expand from 6.7GW in 2025 to 32.3GW by 2035, achieving a CAGR of over 17%. Solar generation is projected to increase from 15.8TWh in 2025 to 75.4TWh by 2035.

Major projects include Al Dhafra Solar PV and Noor Abu Dhabi Solar Park. Under the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, the country plans to invest approximately $54 billion in clean energy, targeting 50% clean energy in the electricity mix by mid-century. Gas-fired capacity will grow from 44.4GW in 2025 to nearly 46GW by 2035, while nuclear capacity remains stable at 5.3GW, ensuring grid stability.
