UARX Space Develops High-Reliability Spacecraft OSSIE in Spain
UARX Space, based in Nigrán, Spain, has developed the OSSIE spacecraft, achieving TRL9 and designed for modular orbital operations, with its first mission planned for mid-2026 involving seven customers. The company has partnered with Dawn Aerospace for in-orbit refueling and is expanding into dual-use satellite platforms, having gained recognition as an ESA Rising Star at Space Tech Expo Europe 2025. UARX operates a 1,200 m² facility in Porto do Molle Tech Park for mass production.

UARX Space, founded in 2020 in Nigrán, Spain, has developed the OSSIE spacecraft to achieve TRL9. OSSIE is designed for modular orbital operations and will conduct its inaugural mission with seven customers in mid-2026.
UARX has partnered with Dawn Aerospace for in-orbit refueling capabilities. The company’s SAU&RON system has proven reliability in recent missions, securing contracts for high-value payloads, including Atmos Space Cargo.
UARX is expanding into dual-use satellite platforms for commercial and defense applications, receiving recognition as an ESA Rising Star at Space Tech Expo Europe 2025. The company has a 1,200 m² facility in Porto do Molle Tech Park for mass production.
