UC Davis Receives $25M Gift to Enhance Agricultural Technology Innovation
UC Davis has received a $25 million gift from Dan G. Best II, aimed at advancing agricultural technology. The funding will create three endowed chairs in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering and establish the C.L. Best Innovation in Agriculture Fund for scholarships and research. The college will also open the Resnick Center for Agricultural Innovation in 2026, featuring cutting-edge facilities for robotics, AI, and sustainability.
