The state-of-the-art, 460,000-square-foot facility will utilize AI, robotics, and automation, reinforcing UCB's commitment to the U.S. market and its global biologics manufacturing network.

UCB has announced the establishment of a $2 billion biologics manufacturing facility in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The 460,000-square-foot facility will be located on 79 acres within the Rowen innovation district and is designed to produce biologics around the clock for the U.S. market.
This investment is projected to create approximately 330 permanent jobs and over 1,000 construction jobs. UCB's decision reflects its commitment to long-term growth and innovation in the U.S., with the project expected to generate a total economic impact of $5 billion.
