UCDI Investor Club Launches in Ukraine to Boost Military Technology Investment
The UCDI Investor Club has been established in Kyiv to facilitate connections between institutional investors and Ukrainian defense technology companies, reflecting a significant increase in investment from $1.1 million in 2023 to $105.2 million in 2025. The initiative includes 15 investment funds and highlights collaborative efforts, such as a UK-Ukraine joint venture for Raybird tactical drones and Denmark's 130 million-euro fund for Ukrainian defense firms. An investment tour in the U.S. is scheduled for March 2025 to promote Ukrainian defense innovations.

The UCDI Investor Club was launched in Kyiv by the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry to connect institutional investors with Ukrainian defense technology companies. The platform started in October 2025 and currently includes 15 investment funds.
Investment in the sector rose from $1.1 million in 2023 to $105.2 million in 2025, with average funding for prototypes increasing from $215,000 to $718,000. The UK and Ukraine initiated a joint venture to produce Raybird tactical drones, while Denmark announced a 130 million-euro fund for investments in Ukrainian defense firms. An investment tour in the U.S. is planned for March 2025 to showcase Ukrainian defense innovations.
