UDP Renewables is negotiating with a European investor to establish a comprehensive green hydrogen project in Ukraine, anticipated to produce around 50,000 tons of hydrogen annually. The facility will be located in the Volyn region, leveraging its growing wind energy sector to secure affordable green electricity.
An Austrian company is expected to finalize an investment agreement, also serving as a potential buyer for the hydrogen intended for the EU market. To support exports, UDP Renewables plans to upgrade the existing Ukrainian gas transportation infrastructure. This project could enhance energy security and foster renewable investments in the region.
