Udu Local Government Declares War on Cultism in Delta State

Vincent Oyibode, Chairman of Udu Local Government Area in Delta State, declared that Udu kingdom will not be a safe haven for cultists, vowing to intensify efforts against criminal activities. During a meeting with Lt.-Col.
Peter Ochasi of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, he highlighted the importance of collaboration with the military and security agencies to restore public confidence. Oyibode addressed security challenges, including cultism, herdsmen movements, and land disputes, and called for sustained military support. Ochasi assured of the Army's readiness to assist and strengthen the relationship with the council for peace and stability.
