UHT Unitech and Fong Jaw Aerospace signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop and produce Cougar drones for the global defense and commercial UAV markets. They plan to deliver 350 Cougar drones in 2025 and 700 in 2026, with estimated sales exceeding NT$100 million (US$3.17 million).

The Cougar is a fixed-wing drone with vertical takeoff and landing capabilities, able to carry up to 10 kg, featuring a hybrid power system, a maximum altitude of 4,000 meters, and a flight time of up to six hours. Fong Jaw will manage exterior design and flight systems, while UHT Unitech will handle hardware manufacturing.

UHT Unitech also secured a NT$10 million order from Belgian company Syensqo for aerospace materials. Fong Jaw Aerospace has experience in UAV engines and showcased additional drones at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition.
