UK Docks Secures Major Contract for Ex-HMS Enterprise Overhaul
UK Docks has begun a comprehensive technical overhaul of the former HMS Enterprise, marking its first contract with a non-Royal Navy customer. This project, commissioned by the Bangladesh Government, illustrates a significant expansion in UK Docks' portfolio and capabilities.

UK Docks is undertaking a major refurbishment of the ex-HMS Enterprise, recently relocated from Portsmouth Harbour to dry dock on Teesside. This project is notable as it represents UK Docks' first major contract with a navy other than the Royal Navy, emphasizing the company's growth over its 30-year history.
The work will involve collaboration with three original equipment manufacturers from Norway and will employ three permanent staff for oversight, along with 20 fixed-term specialists from the maritime engineering sector. The successful completion of this project could position UK Docks for further international contracts, enhancing its competitive edge in the maritime market.
