The UK Ministry of Defence has developed the Foxhound light protected patrol vehicle (LPPV) in collaboration with General Dynamics, designed to replace the Snatch Land Rover with a £200 million investment. Since its launch in 2009, 400 units have been delivered, featuring a customizable design and the latest variant equipped with Moog's Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform for enhanced air defense. The Foxhound can reach speeds of 112 km/h and is built with a V-shaped hull for improved crew protection.

The Foxhound light protected patrol vehicle (LPPV), previously Ocelot, was developed by Ricardo and Force Protection Europe, part of General Dynamics. Launched at DSEi in September 2009, it is designed to replace Snatch Land Rovers with £200m ($268.08m) requirements.
A total of 400 vehicles have been delivered since 2012. The UK MoD ordered 200 units in November 2010 and 100 more in December 2011. The Foxhound is customizable with a skateboard spine system and can be adapted for various missions.
The latest variant features Moog's Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP) for improved air defense capabilities. The vehicle can reach speeds of 112 km/h, has a gross weight of 7,500 kg, and possesses a V-shaped hull for crew protection.
