UK MoD Integrates Single Information Environment into ADDI Command-and-Control Programme
The UK Ministry of Defence is set to integrate its Single Information Environment (SInfoE) into the All-Domain Data Interoperability (ADDI) programme, enhancing information sharing across military systems. Developed by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and industry partners, SInfoE aims to standardize data flow and interoperability among the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, as demonstrated during the Archeron trials in July 2024.

The UK Ministry of Defence's Single Information Environment (SInfoE) will be integrated into the Cyber and Specialist Operations Command's All-Domain Data Interoperability (ADDI) programme. SInfoE aims to standardize information sharing protocols between various systems.
The architecture was developed by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and industry partners starting in 2021, enabling data flow from its source to the point of need. Nexor Ltd created SInfoE under a DEFCON 703 contract.
In July 2024, SInfoE was tested during the Archeron trials involving the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, demonstrating its capability to facilitate rapid sharing of critical operational data among different military systems. The protocol is designed for interoperability across all military domains.
