UKAEA and Eni Launch RH3OVA Joint Venture for Fusion Energy Services
The UKAEA and Eni have established RH3OVA to support the fusion energy sector through consultancy and operational services. This venture aims to enhance the management of deuterium and tritium, essential fuels for fusion energy, aligning with the UK's Fusion Strategy.

RH3OVA, a joint venture between the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and Eni, has been launched to provide specialized consultancy and operational services in the fusion energy sector. The initiative will manage the fusion fuel cycle focusing on deuterium and tritium, which are critical for fusion energy production.
The UK has established expertise in tritium operations, and the venture aims to scale this knowledge to commercial applications. The collaboration advances both organizations' commitment to fusion technology and meets the increasing demand for integrated engineering services related to the fuel cycle for fusion power plants. This could significantly impact the commercial viability of fusion energy.
