Ukraine and Norway Initiate Joint Drone Production Agreement
Ukraine and Norway will collaborate on the production of 'mid-strike' drones, with manufacturing set to occur in Norway. This initiative is fully funded by Norway, with an allocation beyond the $7 billion defense aid planned for Ukraine in 2026.

Ukraine and Norway have signed an agreement to begin joint production of Ukrainian-designed 'mid-strike' drones in Norway. Norway will finance the project using additional funds alongside the $7 billion in defense aid allocated for Ukraine in 2026.
The first systems are expected to be delivered by summer 2026, enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities. Norway plans to invest over $1.5 billion in 2026 for Ukrainian-made weapons. This collaboration will also promote broader industrial cooperation, including research and development, crucial for strengthening defense ties and supply chains.
