Ukraine Commander Reports Russia's Plans for Increased Drone Production and Personnel Mobilization

DEFENSE

General Oleksandr Syrskyy, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that Russia intends to increase its drone production to 1,000 units per day and plans to conscript 409,000 personnel in 2026. He noted that Russia has a mobilization potential exceeding 20 million, with 4.5 million already trained.

Despite these challenges, the Ukrainian defense forces have thwarted several Russian offensive operations in 2025, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, including 419,000 personnel. The Ukrainian military aims to enhance its technological capabilities, particularly in drone warfare and artificial intelligence, to maintain operational initiative and counterbalance the enemy's manpower advantages. Syrskyy emphasized the importance of continued effective combat operations and partnerships to achieve military objectives in the ongoing conflict.
