Ukraine Integrates Vepr UGV for Enhanced Military Logistics and Evacuation
The Vepr unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) enhances Ukraine's Armed Forces by enabling efficient logistics and medevac operations. It can transport up to 350 kg of cargo and evacuate two wounded soldiers simultaneously, reflecting the military's commitment to modernize its capabilities.

The Vepr UGV, developed in Ukraine, has been approved for use by the Armed Forces and has begun operations on the front lines since 2024. The vehicle, measuring 136 cm by 112 cm by 138 cm, can carry 350 kg and travel over 7.5 km/h for nearly 40 km on a single battery charge.
Its multifunctionality includes delivering ammunition, evacuating soldiers, and recovering damaged vehicles. The Ministry of Defense plans to procure over 25,000 UGVs in the first half of 2026, aiming to transition to unmanned platforms for all front-line logistics. This shift could significantly enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks to personnel.
