Ukraine debuted its Bohdana self-propelled artillery system at the World Defence Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia, the first demonstration in the Middle East. Ukrainian Armor oversees the system's export promotion.
The 28-ton artillery was previously displayed in Slovakia before being flown to Saudi Arabia by An-124 aircraft. The company aims to showcase Ukrainian defense innovations and attract interest from potential international partners.
The Bohdana system, which has received a patent, competes with Western artillery like the French CAESAR and is currently produced on four chassis types to meet production demands. As of October 2025, it constitutes about 40% of Ukraine's frontline artillery.
