Ukraine's Arms Export Initiative Gains Momentum Under Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms the framework for arms exports, introducing 'Drone Deals' for military cooperation. The initiative aims to streamline bureaucratic processes and prioritize domestic military needs before surplus exports.

Ukrainian arms exports are set to commence, with President Zelenskyy stating that all details have been agreed upon at the institutional level. The initiative, termed 'Drone Deals,' encompasses agreements for the production and supply of various weaponry, including drones and missiles, while ensuring that Ukrainian military needs are prioritized.
The framework is designed to simplify export procedures and maintain robust export control while enabling local companies to access international markets. A surplus of production capacity reaching 50% has resulted from state investment in the defense sector.
Zelenskyy emphasized the need to prevent technologies from reaching adversarial states and instructed relevant agencies to identify non-cooperative countries. The National Security and Defense Council will oversee the export processes to safeguard national interests.
