Ukraine's Pegasus Arms and Germany's Rohde & Schwarz to Develop New ISR Drones
Ukraine's Pegasus Arms has partnered with Germany's Rohde & Schwarz to develop airborne reconnaissance and electronic support systems for military drones. The collaboration aims to enhance drone capabilities, allowing for threat detection and situational awareness in combat. Initial steps include joint development, testing, and validation of new functionalities. Additionally, Germany has allocated EUR 200 million for medium-range drone procurement to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Pegasus Arms of Ukraine has signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany's Rohde & Schwarz to develop new reconnaissance and electronic support systems for military drones. The partnership will integrate Pegasus Arms' drone platforms with Rohde & Schwarz technologies to enhance unmanned systems in combat, focusing on reconnaissance and threat identification.
Initial phases include joint development and testing of a proof of concept. Pegasus Arms has over 1,500 heavy drones in operation, and the integration of new systems is expected to expand their capabilities beyond logistics and strike missions to include reconnaissance and electronic support. Germany has also allocated EUR 200 million for medium-range drone procurement to support Ukraine's defense.
