Ukrainian Army Receives Only 24,000 Heating Pads Despite Order of 600,000 for 2025
The State Logistics Operator contracted 600,000 heaters for 2025, falling short of the Logistics Forces Command's request for 1.1 million. MIK won the initial tender for 300,000 heaters, valued at 9.4 million UAH. Privatny Operator Tylu LLC later secured contracts for additional heaters at reduced prices, but only 24,000 of the required heaters were delivered by the deadline, citing electricity issues and delayed contracts as reasons for the shortfall.

For 2025, the State Logistics Operator contracted 600,000 heating pads, less than the 1.1 million requested by the Logistics Forces Command. MIK won the initial tender for 300,000 units at a contract value of 9.4 million UAH.
Privatny Operator Tylu LLC, established in 2024, later won additional contracts, significantly lowering prices. Despite this, only 24,000 out of 300,000 heaters were delivered by the December 10 deadline. The company attributed the shortfall to electricity problems and a delayed contract signing, and promised to deliver a further batch soon, which would still be insufficient to meet the demand.
