During a combat operation, a 19-year-old infantryman from the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade captured three Russian soldiers. The operation involved clearing a dugout that was thought to be empty. Upon discovering the enemy soldiers, he and another Ukrainian soldier used psychological tactics to compel their surrender.
Following the capture, a Russian drone attacked, injuring the infantryman, but he was evacuated alongside the prisoners. Other Ukrainian units also reported successful captures, including five Russian soldiers in the North Slobozhanskyi direction and four more by the 47th Mechanized Brigade in Sumy.
