The company anticipates significant turnover growth from £150 million in 2024 to £250 million by 2030, with a substantial portion expected from exports.

Ultra Maritime UK is expanding sonobuoy production at its new integrated design and manufacturing center in Greenford, London, officially opened in September 2024 with a £20 million investment. This facility supports the UK Ministry of Defence's manufacturing goals and focuses on anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capabilities.
Ultra Maritime transferred its sonobuoy production to the new site in mid-2025, manufacturing CAMBS, HIDAR, and LOFAR variants for the Royal Navy and export. The company is pursuing Project Nodens to onshore sonobuoy production for the Royal Air Force's P-8A Poseidon aircraft, currently sourced from the US.
Additionally, it is developing next-generation G-size multistatic sonobuoys for uncrewed air platforms, funded by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. Ultra Maritime, owned by Advent International, projects turnover growth from £150 million in 2024 to £250 million by 2030, with about half from exports.
