UNAC Selected to Supply Robotic EOD Platforms for French Army under ROBIN Program

The French defense procurement agency DGA awarded UNAC a contract to supply up to 34 explosive ordnance disposal robots for the French Army under the ROBIN program. The 1,500-kilogram robots will be remotely operated and equipped with an investigation arm and specialized tools.
They must be towable by Griffon-type armored personnel carriers and travel at speeds up to 30 kilometers per hour. UNAC's platform is based on the Fardier vehicle, with robotization handled by Safran Electronics & Defense. UNAC is responsible for the system's design, manufacture, and assembly.
