UNAC Selected to Supply Robotic EOD Platforms for French Army under ROBIN Program
The French defense procurement agency DGA has awarded UNAC a contract to supply up to 34 robotic explosive ordnance disposal platforms for the French Army under the ROBIN program. These 1,500-kilogram remotely operated robots will feature an investigation arm and specialized tools, and are designed to be towable by Griffon-type armored personnel carriers, capable of traveling at speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour. UNAC will oversee the design, manufacture, and assembly of the systems, with robotization provided by Safran Electronics & Defense.
