Union Minister C.R. Paatil Inaugurates New NDSA Office and Launches Digital Initiatives for Dam Safety
The National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) office in New Delhi was inaugurated by Union Minister C.R. Paatil. Key digital initiatives launched include NETRA, an AI platform for dam safety data, and Rashtriya Bandh Suraksha Darpan for dam break analysis. Rooftop solar power plants were also inaugurated at Central Water Commission buildings to promote clean energy.

Union Minister C.R. Paatil inaugurated the new office of the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) in New Delhi. During the event, he launched NETRA, an AI-enabled platform for tracking dam safety data, developed with the Indian Navy's WESEE, and Rashtriya Bandh Suraksha Darpan, a tool for dam break analysis visualization.
Rooftop solar plants with a capacity of less than 25 kW were also remotely inaugurated at seven Central Water Commission buildings. Paatil emphasized the importance of technology in enhancing dam safety and expressed confidence that the new office will improve efficiency and productivity.
