The funds were collected through the 'Our Hearts Are With Jamaica' campaign launched in October 2025.
Contributions came from UWTT, Southern Sales and Services Ltd, bpTT, Republic Bank Ltd, Atlantic LNG, TSTT, and other donors, supporting the United Way of Jamaica's relief plan. UWTT emphasized the importance of collective action and regional disaster response experience, citing previous support for various disasters including the 2010 Haiti earthquake and 2017 Hurricane Maria. The organization aims to ensure sustained investment in recovery beyond immediate assistance.
