Swiss defense officials reported that of the 23 recently prioritized projects, the majority are making progress. Notably, the Nepro project at Swisstopo is classified as green, while the telecommunications project TK A has shifted from red to orange.
Despite these advancements, deputy secretary-general Robert Scheidegger cautioned that inflation may lead to increased costs and warned against unwarranted optimism. As of early 2026, while the situation has improved compared to late 2025, none of the critical projects have reached completion.
