U.S. Air Force Plans $320 Million SABER Contract for Construction Services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia
The U.S. Air Force will seek proposals for a $320 million Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract for construction services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The 633rd Contracting Squadron plans to issue a request for proposals on or about March 2, 2026, with questions due by January 23.
The SABER program includes a variety of repair, maintenance, and construction projects covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping work. The Air Force intends to award two firm-fixed-price contracts with a one-year base term and seven option years. Previous solicitations include a $120 million SABER recompete contract for Edwards Air Force Base and a $185 million SABER contract for multiple bases in Nevada.
