U.S. and Lithuania Conduct Live Fire Exercise with HIMARS in Klaipėda

On February 3, 2026, U.S. Army Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, conducted a live-fire exercise with Lithuanian partners in Klaipėda, Lithuania, utilizing the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS).

This event marked the end of the HIMARS apprenticeship program, which focused on training Lithuanian forces in the system's operation, maintenance, and sustainment. The exercise reflects Lithuania's defense modernization efforts and enhances deterrence capabilities on the Eastern Flank.
