This initiative is part of a $36 million investment by the U.S. Army for engineering and production activities aimed at modernizing artillery munitions. Enhanced automation and refined processes at the facility are expected to improve production efficiency, aiding the Army's mission and supporting combat readiness. The facility represents the 13th ribbon-cutting event in the Army's program to strengthen the Defense Industrial Base.
