U.S. Army Awards Persistent Systems $87.5 Million for Next-Gen Command and Control Prototype

The U.S. Army's Capability Program Executive Command, Control, Communications, and Network has awarded Persistent Systems an $87.5 million contract for MANET devices as part of the Next-Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype.

This order follows a $34 million contract awarded in October, totaling $121.5 million. The MANET technology will enhance data transport capabilities, enabling faster communication and decision-making for Army operations. Deliveries of the technology are expected in the coming months.
