The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is seeking public comments on a draft environmental assessment for an upgrade to the water and sewer system in the Westwood Housing development, Baudette, Minnesota.

The proposed project includes replacing approximately 2,900 feet of water mains, 5,000 feet of sanitary sewer mains, and adding 1,000 feet of storm sewer capacity. A new lift station will be installed, along with an additional 600 feet of pipe to connect the neighborhood. Construction is expected to take two years and will restore impacted streets and driveways to pre-project conditions.
